Information from a study concluded by Red Barn Group Research & Development Teams on shrimp diseases and culture technology.

Location: Surat Thani, Thailand.
Aqua® Line Cationic Compensators, Aquaculture Premium Line.
A higher Survival Rate in the trial group fed with added Aqua® CaLCIUM, Aqua® MgNESIUM, Aqua® kPOTASSIUM, and Aqua® BOOSTER (TREATMENT 1); shows to be better than the CONTROL GROUP and TREATMENT 2 (fed with commercial Calcium and Magnesium).
The Survival Rate in the TREATMENT 1 was 12.5% higher compared to the CONTROL GROUP and 71% higher compared with TREATMENT 2.
The Total Biomass in TREATMENT 1 was 8% higher compared with the CONTROL and 110% higher compared with TREATMENT 2.
Based on the results, we advise using the AQUA® line of products by Red Barn Group with shrimp feed during the growing phase of the animals to increase the survival rate and improve biomass.

6 net cages (1m x 1m x 1m) floating in a reservoir with untreated seawater (C Pond).
Stock 15 L. Vannamei (15g) per cage
Feeding ad libitum, 3g 3 times daily (08.00, 12.00, 17.00 h)
Cage 1-2: fed with standard commercial pellets. No bio supplements used.
Cage 5-6: fed with standard commercial pellets PLUS: 5ml of commercial Calcium and 5ml of commercial Magnesium per KG of feed.
